Annette Funicello did not only perform and sing, she was also an actor. She is best known for her role for her role as one of the first "Mouseketeers" in the show 'Mickey Mouse Club.' The singer's career began as an young adolescent. Annette was a shy child who grew up in Utica with Italian immigrants. In an effort to create an impression in the world of entertainment, she began to dance and perform. In the mid-1950s, she was featured in a number of Disney sketches as part of one the "Mouseketeers" which earned her considerable fame. As an adult, Annette shredded her 'Disney persona and performed in a number of adult parts. As one of first actresses, she is recognized as the first to introduce the "beach" style of party. The actress was in films such as 'How to stuff a wild bikini and 'Pajama Parties' as well as 'Beach Party.' The albums of her music were released periodically.
