Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films usually that are in the martial arts or horror genre, which is roughly comparable that of The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and an obsession with them. Her first review was in 2009, and when she gained some status on their forums (under her old handle Obscurus Lupa) she joined the ranks of the Channel Awesome family. She remained member of the channel through January of 2015, after which Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The show can be seen here and here. Follow her on Tumblr as well as Twitter and Instagram. Are you bored of Allison? Ninja the Mission Force is where you'll find Allison doing the Squats in the role of Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! was also featuring her. and was often a guest on his TV show Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible children's films or RiffTrax live-streamed shows, as well as the occasional adult comedy (including Baywatch, of course Baywatch (2017)). She began reviewing movies in the latter half of 2009, and was soon gaining popularity on channels like the Channel Awesome forums before officially becoming a member of the reviewers of the channel's family. Her appearances have included a variety on Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and often appeared in episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
