Anne Phung Nguyen

My name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my amazing fiance JP and extremely happy Dad Henry. The majority of people have come across me through my Instagram account @annephung, where I share my life- my highs, lows and everything between. The year 1990 was the time I emigrated to America together with my family, including my brothers and parents at the age of one and a half. Without my parents' passion for dedication and hard work and sacrifice, I wouldn't be here sharing my journey. As I knew I could be a successful person and I wanted to be successful and do my parents happy. I had a set plan in my life that was to go to university and get a corporate job, get married, buy a house and have kids. My plan for success was to go to university, graduate and get a corporate job. Then I'd get married then buy a house, and start a family. However, life was not so sure. The year 2013 was the year I began dreading going to my corporate job the money and status didn't bring me happinessand I was feeling as if I had wasted my time for a paycheck even though I knew I was destined for something more. My passion for fitness and my desire to socialize with people helped me discover my dream job as an instructor. The year 2014 was the year I began my small business and this year in 2021, I'll be celebrating my 7th year anniversary. As an Asian female working in the field, there are a many of us. As a coach, my goal is to inspire people to live a healthier and happy life by creating viable lifestyles that are suited to the individual's goals and needs. It is my aim to encourage others to chase their desires and lead the lives they've always wanted. When my work began to take off, I was struck by the greatest loss of my life to date- the passing of my mom. In Heaven she is now in peace after an 8-year battle against the disease known as Scleroderma. But I still carry the memory of her every day. Even if you can't see it at first, life can be a bit elusive in offering us the things we require. Many ways, the loss of my mother changed me. It is my belief that she offered me another chance to live through her demise. Her death on Tet/Lunar New Year Day was her opportunity to start a new life. It was a second chance for me to lead a fulfilled life. In my 30's I feel alive and aware of the fact that I live my life now and not merely existing like I was in my past. The purpose of sharing my experience is to inform you that you're not alone. I want you to believe that love is real and that therapy is normal. Health is your most valuable asset. I hope that you experience life at its best and have no regrets about the end of your life. The death of a person is the only certainty in our lives.
